On May 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Marché de l’Ouest is celebrating the grand reopening of its outdoor market with horticulture workshops led by Albert Mondor, along with a variety of activities for the whole family!
Horticulture Workshops with Albert Mondor
Take part in one of the workshops led by horticulturist and biologist Albert Mondor, offered from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. or from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Designed for adults, these sessions will focus on planting and growing a variety of edible plants. It’s the perfect opportunity to kick off your gardening season and leave with practical tips.
Planting Workshop for Children
Children are invited to take part in a fun, hands-on activity where they decorate their own biodegradable cardboard pot and plant seeds. Once complete, their pots will be ready to take home and plant in the garden. The workshop will run continuously throughout the day.
Activities for the Whole Family
Throughout the day, enjoy a wide variety of activities for all ages. In addition to the workshops, there will be inflatable games, skill-based games, face painting and more! A festive and welcoming atmosphere awaits you.
